Influencer marketing helps cultivate communities to build brand loyalty
Influencer marketing is one of the most innovative facets of the digital marketing mix. According to the latest article published by The Drum, it has evolved at a phenomenal pace over the last decade and is expected to grow to be worth $9.7bn in 2020. The latest evolution, ambassador marketing, sees brands engaging customers to create content, provide reviews and suggest future product lines, all while putting the spotlight on authenticity. Consumer purchase decisions are heavily influenced by peers and relatable micro-influencers: engagement rates are much higher for micro-influencers and a recent study stated that 70% of millennials are influenced by social content from their peers.
Instagram launches QR codes globally
Users can now generate QR codes that’ll be scannable from any supporting, third-party camera apps. What started as a test in Japan last year, now is the real deal for many countries worldwide. The businesses can print their QR code and have customers scan it to open their Instagram account easily. From there, people can see opening hours, purchase items, or simply follow the account.
The option to generate QR codes can be found under the settings menu on your profile. Nametag that had worked for this purpose before might still be there, but it will eventually become QR code.
QR codes will for sure make it easier for people to scan and quickly access information.
Facebook rolls out Paid Online Events
Page owners can finally create online events, set prices, promote the events, collect payments and host their online events – all in one place!
By combining marketing, payment and live video, Paid Online Events meet the end-to-end needs of businesses.
According to Facebook's statement, Pages can now host events on Facebook Live to reach broad audiences, while connecting paid events with Messenger Rooms, aiming to develop more personal and interactive gatherings is still being tested.
The new feature is available on Pages in 20 countries globally (picked out depending on the monetization policies). Those countries can start charging for their online events, making it easier for millions of people and small businesses to make money on Facebook.
TikTok publishes a short guide for its Analytics
The ability to effectively monitor and measure the reach and impact of video posts on the platform is one of the most important aspects of building a successful presence on TikTok. The only way to do this is, of course, by reaching out for TikTok’s Analytics tool.
In order to use TikTok Analytics, you will have to switch Pro Account. Luckily, the process is quick and easy.
When you access TikTok Analytics, there are three sections to consider - Overview, Content, and Followers sections. As you post more videos, the numbers, stats and graphs in these sections, Analytics begins painting a meaningful image of your impact on people and helps you grow your channel in the right direction.
There is a great value in being an industry influencer
With compelling content and the right strategy, becoming an influencer in any industry is possible. Building up your personal brand and your authority in your industry is one way to do that. The latest article published by Forbes states that as an industry influencer, you’re valued for your experience, opinions and advice, not just your deliverables. You’ll get in front of more clients, land bigger accounts and turn your opinions into profits.
But becoming an influencer in your industry isn’t always easy. You need to have the tools and strategies to make your life easier — and differentiate you from the crowd.
