Post For Rent builds the first Influencer HQ in the Metaverse

It’s a futuristic vision painted by the crème de la crème of the Silicon Valley, but it’s a vision that’s already here and many progressive brands, companies and creators have already rolled up their sleeves. Metaverse is a virtual world, “the next level of the Internet and a collective virtual space”. Post For Rent is paving the way for creators and brands to utilize the new opportunities which come with an endless creativity dose.

What is the Metaverse?

“It’s a virtual world that connects to the world we live in. It’s a virtual world that is shared by a lot of people. It has real design. It has a real economy. You have a real avatar. In the Metaverse, you’ll spend time with your friends. It will be a communications Metaverse. It won’t be flat. It’ll be 3D. We’ll be able to almost feel like we’re there with each other. It’s how we do time travel. It’s how we travel to far places at the speed of light. It could simulate the future.” - Jensen Huang (CEO, Nvidia).

Or as the President and the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella says: “With the Metaverse, the entire world becomes your app canvas. Any device or location can be modeled. One of my favourite examples of how Anheuser-Busch InBev used our Metaverse systems: they followed every single beer bottle from the wheat field, through processing, to the distribution process. They have created complete digital twins for their breweries and supply chains.”

The big players such as Microsoft, Facebook, and many more have already rolled up their sleeves, with Mark Zuckerberg recently saying he is betting Facebook’s future on it. According to Zuckerberg, the Metaverse is an embodied internet (Internet+) in which we don’t only consume content, but we are right in the middle of it. But how this future-forward universe functions and what opportunities will it open for brands and creators? We’re already living in a virtual world, but what Metaverse allows people is to dive into this world not necessarily through AR or VR, but rather through a mix of devices. Being able to immerse in an online world and build communities there is what Metaverse is about, and brands are now trying to crack how to build relevance there.

First Influencer HQ in the Metaverse

Post For Rent has recognized the opportunities the new era of the future brings, hoping to become the bridge for influencers between virtual and physical world. Building the first office in Decentraland is just a stepping stone towards a greater vision, with plans for future live events, videos, podcasts, influencer hub, art galleries, campaigns and one-of-a-kind brand collaborations which are already in the works. Decentraland, the most popular and well-established Metaverse, is a 3D virtual reality built on a decentralized Ethereum cryptocurrency called MANA. It allows users to buy land, virtual real estate, see art galleries, attend concerts and much more. Due to current physical limitations, Post For Rent has turned to Decentraland and other Metaverse spaces to create a new playground for brands and creators, enabling them to go outside the box and showcase their full creative potential. We want to grant our clients a full access into this creative space which holds unseen opportunities for brands to raise the bar in the world of marketing.

Creator-focused NFT Marketplace coming late October

With our digital journey in full swing, Post For Rent is working on co-creating a new creator-focused NFT marketplace called ‘FreshStash’, set to be released in late October, facilitating creators’ digital asset monetisation. At the moment, we are building a community of artists and digital creators who will be featured on the website, with first art exhibition planned to take place in Decentraland on the already inhabited Post For Rent estate.

With this future-forward vision, Post For Rent is aiming at becoming an industry pioneer in what seems to be the future of the online world. The creator possibilities are endless as well, with room for interaction now bigger than ever, not only with their audiences, but with their fellow influencers as well; fitness influencers can train together, foodies can cook together, travel influencers can share their experiences of the world together, and much more. Metaverse space has already seen a constant rise in popularity, the price of the land and other assets, and while more and more companies will want to join the party, the later they join the costlier it’ll be.
